Industrial Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualization Ideation: Develop creative ideas and concepts for new products, considering usability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

• Design Development: Produce detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of product designs.

• Material Selection: Identify appropriate materials for product designs, balancing performance, cost, and sustainability.

• Prototyping: Work closely with prototyping teams to create physical models of designs and assess their viability.

• User-Centered Design: Focus on user experience (UX) principles and ensure that designs meet the needs and preferences of the target audience.

• Collaboration: Work in partnership with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to refine designs and ensure manufacturability.

• CAD Rendering: Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create precise design drawings and renderings for internal and external presentations.

• Testing Evaluation: Conduct tests to evaluate the functionality, durability, and performance of prototypes and make necessary adjustments to designs.

• Manufacturing Liaison: Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility of designs and streamline the production process.

• Sustainability: Integrate eco-friendly practices into design processes, considering sustainable materials and production methods.

• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
