Role Overview :

The DS Analytics role at IndusInd Bank is designed for a seasoned professional to bridge the gap between complex data sets and strategic business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, risk, and marketing departments, to translate business challenges into analytical solutions. By developing predictive models and actionable insights, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing customer journeys, enhancing risk assessment frameworks, and driving the bank's digital transformation initiatives in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems, such as credit risk assessment and customer churn prediction, to improve operational efficiency.

- Execute deep-dive data analytics projects to identify trends and patterns that inform senior management's strategic decision-making.

- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL and Python to ensure high-quality data availability for analytical reporting.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Automate recurring analytical tasks to reduce manual effort and improve the speed of insight delivery across the organization.

Required Skillset :

- Possess 4 to 9 years of hands-on experience in applying Data Science and Machine Learning techniques to solve real-world business problems.

- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and model development.

- Exhibit strong communication skills to articulate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders and influence business strategy.

- Maintain a high degree of adaptability to work effectively in a hybrid or on-site environment within the Chennai office.

- Hold a relevant degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Economics, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact analytical projects.
