About the Role We are looking for a responsible and experienced Import Executive to handle end-to-end import operations, shipment coordination, documentation, customs clearance, and communication with suppliers and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

Handle complete import documentation process including BOE, Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, and other shipping documents.
Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and suppliers.
Track shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.
Monitor detention, demurrage, and port-related activities.
Verify duty calculations, freight invoices, and shipping charges.
Handle IDPMS/BOE closure coordination with banks.
Manage import planning and shipment schedules.
Follow up for original documents and payment-related activities.
Maintain records of imports, shipment status, and costing sheets.
Coordinate with warehouse and accounts department for smooth cargo movement.
Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, and RBI regulations.
Negotiate freight and logistics charges wherever required.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of import procedures and customs documentation.
Experience in handling shipping lines and CHA coordination.
Knowledge of ICEGATE, IDPMS, and duty structure preferred.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Good command over MS Excel and email communication.
Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Qualification

Graduate in Commerce / Management / Logistics / Supply Chain preferred.

Additional certification in Export-Import or Logistics will be an advantage.
