Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Analyst with strong experience in automation testing, API testing, functional testing, and quality engineering practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing automation frameworks, improving test coverage, executing test strategies, and ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation tools, API testing, CI/CD integration, and working closely with development and product teams.

• Strong experience in Automation Testing Frameworks with hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and Cypress.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Hybrid frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Web Application Testing, API Testing, and Backend Testing.
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and Swagger, including HTTP methods, JSON/XML validation, authentication, and request/response validation.
• Strong understanding of Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Experience in preparing and executing Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Execution Reports, and Defect Reports.
• Good knowledge of SQL and Database Testing with the ability to validate data integrity, backend processing, and database records.
• Experience with defect management and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Good understanding of Git version control, Agile/Scrum methodology, SDLC, and STLC processes.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling is an added advantage.
• Understanding of security testing concepts, including authentication, authorization, vulnerability identification, and secure application testing.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications (Azure/AWS) is preferred.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and improve test coverage.
