- About this OpportunityWe are seeking an Identity & Access Management Engineer to support the engineering, enhancement, and reliability of Aligns Enterprise Identity & Access Services.
- This role focuses on building, improving, and automating IAM capabilities, while partnering closely with IAM Operations teams who handle day-to-day BAU.
- This position is ideal for an engineer who is hands-on, comfortable working with Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, PowerShell, and PKI, and wants to grow toward Senior IAM Engineer or Identity Architect roles.

- In this Role, You WillIAM Engineering & Platform Enablement.
- Engineer and enhance IAM solutions across
- Identity lifecycle (Joiner / Mover / Leaver).
- Authentication and authorization.
- Privileged access and role-based access models.
- Implement and improve Microsoft Entra ID configurations aligned with security and operational requirements.
- Support engineering changes across Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and identity policies.
- Assist with onboarding applications using SSO, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM provisioning.
- Foundational Services & Identity Dependencies.
- Engineer and support Active Directory (on-prem and hybrid) configurations.
- Support PKI engineering tasks, including certificate templates, issuance workflows, and renewal processes.
- Troubleshoot and improve identity dependencies involving DNS, authentication flows, and certificate trust chains.
- Support engineering changes for hybrid identity components (sync, cloud auth patterns).
- Automation & Engineering Tooling.
- Develop and enhance PowerShell scripts for IAM engineering and bulk operations.
- Improve existing automation runbooks used by IAM Ops teams.
- Assist in building identity data workflows using Microsoft Graph APIs and enterprise APIs.
- Identify engineering opportunities to reduce operational toil and manual effort.
- Collaboration & Engineering Support.
- Partner with IAM Operations teams to transition engineered solutions into stable BAU support.
- Work with InfoSec, CloudOps, and Application teams on identity-related engineering tasks.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions led by senior engineers or architects.
- Produce clear technical documentation and engineering handover artifacts.
- What We're Looking For.
- What Youll Need Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6-7 years of experience in IAM or identity-related engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory and hybrid identity concepts.
- Experience engineering or configuring Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
- Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI and certificate lifecycle management.
- Experience with SSO, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM.
- Strong troubleshooting and engineering mindset.
- Added Advantage Exposure to Microsoft 365 identity integrations (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams).
- Experience supporting identity automation or platform tooling.
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Graph, Azure services, or Azure DevOps.
- Awareness of compliance or audit-driven identity requirements.
- Interest in evolving toward Senior IAM Engineer or Identity Architect roles.
