Job Description
Job Title: Identity Access Management (IAM) Level 2 Engineer This is a mid-level technical role requiring prior experience in identity platforms and enterprise IAM processes
Work Location: Pune preferred or Chennai
This role requires the personnel to work from Wolter Kluwers office for two days a week
Shift Timings: 24x5 plus rotational on-call on weekends
Key Responsibilities: - Respond to and resolve Level 2 IAM incidents and service tickets in a timely manner
- Support the administration of IAM tools such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, or equivalent platforms
- Monitor IAM infrastructure to ensure high availability
- Work closely with IT and security teams to ensure the integration of IAM systems with other technologies
- Process and troubleshoot user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modification requests across enterprise systems
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes including role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege enforcement
- Work closely with IT support teams, application owners, and SOC to investigate access issues and enforce policy
- Support access reviews, certification campaigns, and audit requests as part of compliance activities
- Assist users with SSL certificate renewal
- Help document IAM processes, workflows, and runbooks
- Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements or automation opportunities
- Escalate complex issues to Level 3 engineers in a timely manner
Skills and Qualifications: - Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience in IT security
- Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
- On-Premises and Cloud Skills: Experience with both on-premises and cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) environments
- IAM Solutions: Strong understanding of user lifecycle management, access control models, and directory services
- Experience with IAM solutions such as SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Microsoft Azure AD, or similar
- Incident Management: Working knowledge of ITIL practices and experience with ServiceNow
- Network Security: Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and other security technologies
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment, quick learner, positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in IAM or cybersecurity are a plus
