GNM / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing from a recognised institution.

• Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor patient care activities and ensure adherence to ICU protocols and standards
• Assist in the management of medical emergencies and code blue situations
• Coordinate with consultants, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care plans
• Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices within the ICU
• Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and nursing protocols
• Monitor quality indicators such as infection rates, medication errors, patient falls, and patient satisfaction
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation activities
• Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation

10+ years of nursing experience with proven ICU leadership. General shift.

• Prepare and manage nursing duty rosters and shift allocations
• Supervise ICU nursing staff and provide guidance and support
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
• Identify training needs and coordinate ongoing clinical education programs
• Ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts
• Monitor availability and functionality of ICU equipment, including ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, and defibrillators
• Ensure adequate stock of medicines, consumables, and emergency supplies
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment
• Address patient and family concerns professionally and empathetically
• Facilitate effective communication between patients families and healthcare teams
• Maintain ICU records, reports, and departmental documentation
• Prepare daily census and operational reports
• Participate in departmental meetings and management reviews
• Assist in policy implementation and process improvement initiatives
