Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong handson expertise in IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, IIS, and Spring Boot applications. The role involves supporting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprisegrade applications in a production environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer and support IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) environments
- Manage and support Apache Tomcat and Spring Boot–based microservices
- Support Microsoft IIS hosted applications
- Perform application deployments, restarts, and configuration changes
- Monitor application availability, performance, and logs
- Investigate production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Support scheduled maintenance, patching, and upgrades
- Participate in oncall and 24x7 rotational support when required
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation

Web Servers
- IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) – Installation, configuration, troubleshooting
- Apache Tomcat – Deployment, tuning, SSL configuration
- Microsoft IIS – Application hosting, bindings, application pools
