IAM Engineer and Identity & Access Management Specialist Access

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Access Control, and Identity Governance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing identity lifecycle processes, access governance, authentication, authorization, and compliance within enterprise environments.

Immediate Joiners or candidates who can join within 15 days are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions across enterprise applications.
• Manage user identity lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, and access reviews.
• Implement and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and least-privilege access models.
• Perform user access certification, segregation of duties (SoD) analysis, and governance activities.
• Collaborate with business, security, and application teams to define and enforce access policies.
• Investigate and resolve IAM-related incidents, access issues, and authentication failures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Support onboarding of applications with IAM platforms and integrate enterprise applications using standard authentication protocols.
• Prepare documentation, SOPs, and audit evidence for internal and external compliance reviews.
• Participate in security assessments, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 68 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Strong knowledge of Access Control, Identity Governance, and User Lifecycle Management.
• Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity Governance Administration (IGA).
• Hands-on experience with one or more IAM tools such as SailPoint IdentityIQ/IdentityNow, Saviynt, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or CyberArk.
• Good understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and LDAP/Active Directory.
• Experience with user provisioning, access reviews, certifications, and audit compliance.
• Knowledge of security best practices and identity governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Active Directory and LDAP administration.
• Knowledge of cloud IAM services (AWS IAM, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting for IAM automation.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks such as SOX, ISO 27001, GDPR, or PCI-DSS.
