Position: IT Security Admin, Sr. – Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Location: Bangalore

Experience Requirement

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree

• Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) / User Lifecycle Management

• Hands-on scripting experience in Python or PowerShell – at least one is mandatory

Key Roles & Responsibilities

The IT Security Admin, Sr. will be part of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team and will be responsible for supporting secure access management across Bread Financial's enterprise applications and systems.

The key responsibilities include:

1. Provisioning and De-provisioning

• Manage access provisioning and revocation for end users and systems.
• Support employee onboarding, transfers/movers, and offboarding activities.
• Analyze access requests to ensure proper authorization and required approvals.
• Handle Active Directory services, including:
  • User account provisioning/de-provisioning
  • AD Group management
  • Mailbox access
  • File share access
  • Application and system access
• Support access modifications and lifecycle activities.

2. IAM Operations and Access Management

• Perform IAM Administration and support identity lifecycle processes.
• Handle user access requests, incidents, and access-related issues.
• Support SSO, MFA, authentication, and authorization-related activities.
• Work with modern IAM technologies and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC and SCIM.
• Support governance, access control, and security best practices.

3. ServiceNow and Incident Management

• Work with ticketing tools, particularly ServiceNow.
• Handle incidents, requests, ticket assignments, and access-related issues.
• Ensure timely resolution and adherence to defined SLAs.
• Support incident management and request fulfillment activities.

4. Automation and Scripting

• Use PowerShell or Python for scripting and automation.
• Automate repetitive IAM and access management activities wherever applicable.
• Support reporting and operational activities through automation.

5. Quality and Process Improvement

• Ensure quality and timely SLA closure of assigned activities.
• Stay updated on process changes and security requirements.
• Review operational metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform quality checks and contribute to Root Cause Analysis where required.
• Support and guide junior team members when needed.

6. Governance and Compliance

• Have an understanding of Access Governance and Recertification processes.
• Participate in access reviews and governance-related activities.
• Support compliance requirements and secure access management practices.

7. Documentation and Reporting

• Create, maintain, and update SOPs, process documents, and other relevant documentation.
• Prepare reports and support monthly metrics/dashboard reporting.
• Highlight important operational observations and callouts to relevant stakeholders.
