Job Description
- Working on Water Gems (Bentley’s) software for water distribution network.
- Competent to use Pipe characteristics, accessories, reservoirs, pumping stations, flow and pressure measurement, consumption patterns, topographic data etc. from various source to build in hydraulic models.
- Capable of model building, calibration, actualization and hydraulic simulations using WaterGEMS.
- Competent in the use of GIS software packages, preferably QGIS, Arc Info etc. Updating data from GIS, site info from zonal engineers, trial pits, O & M engineers in Hydraulic model.
- Strong hydraulic skills to verify and evaluate the model results and to define recommendation of New pipelines and other assets for approval.
- Checking the data according to the required parameters on WaterGEMS. Have excellent data conversion abilities (MSExcel database type packages)
- The documentation management related to hydraulics.
- Preparation of the Hydraulic reports and finalizing of same with clients.
- Providing required data to GIS for preparation of Maps.
- Providing technical support to the project team i.e. (client comment resolution, Site support, etc)
- Competent level of baseline skills, i.e.: professional and confident with the essential, basic business and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Monitors Hydraulic model for Water services
- Monitors Service Water Network Calculation
- Checks all documents with reference to hydraulic requirements
- Participates in Project Milestone meeting.
- Attending meeting with clients
