HVAC Draughtsman

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Draughtsman to join our team at Smart Joules, playing a crucial role in designing and developing innovative heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.

• Design and develop detailed drawings and models of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and data for design purposes.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation of design changes and revisions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members on design-related matters.

• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit MEP.
• Strong understanding of HVAC system principles, including heat load calculations and psychometric analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
• Familiarity with industry-standard design tools and technologies, such as BIM modeling software.
