Key Responsibilities

Safety Monitoring Compliance

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
• Monitor contractor and employee compliance with safety requirements.
• Verify proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Risk Assessment Work Permits

• Participate in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).
• Assist in preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for critical activities.
• Ensure Permit to Work (PTW) requirements are followed before work commencement.

High-risk activities

• Work at Height
• Electrical Work
• Hot Work
• Lifting Operations
• Confined Space Entry

Training Awareness

• Conduct Safety Induction for new employees and contractors.
• Deliver Daily Toolbox Talks and safety briefings.
• Promote safety awareness campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives.
• Educate workers on emergency procedures and safe work practices.

Incident Management

• Report and investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain incident records and prepare investigation reports.

Emergency Preparedness

• Support emergency response activities and mock drills.
• Ensure firefighting equipment and first-aid facilities are available and functional.
• Coordinate with emergency response teams during emergencies.

Documentation Reporting

• Maintain inspection reports, training records, PTW records, and safety observations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
• Update safety statistics and compliance records.
