HSE COORDINATOR SCOPE OF SERVICES**

Detailed Scope of Services

Safety Inspections and Hazard Identification

Conduct daily safety inspections of all work areas and locations to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and potential hazards in accordance with ABB Safety Guidelines and ABB Code of Practice provided during vendor evaluation of .

Ensure safety compliance through routine inspections, audits, and SOTs to maintain a robust safety management system.

Reporting of Incidents, Near Misses, and Unsafe Conditions

Report all near misses and incidents as per defined checklists for daily activities.

Capture and report observations received from any personnel working within the facility.

Communicate all observations identified during inspections directly to ABB in the prescribed formats.

Immediately escalate any critical findings to the designated responsible person as defined in ABB reporting procedures.

Reporting of Safety Violations

Identify and report any deviations from ABB Safety Guidelines or ABB Code of Practice issued during vendor evaluation and ensure corrective and preventive actions are initiated.

4. Participation in Safety Communication & Training

1.

Actively participate in toolbox talks conducted by execution supervisors on shop floors.

2.

Participate in daily STARRT meetings ensuring 100% coverage of all batches at least once per week.

o

Support batch owners with daily STARRT topics.

o

Ensure 100% feedback from batch owners is recorded in the STARRT portal.

o

Facilitate closure of all feedback actions.

Verify work permits for vendor activities to ensure adequate controls and elimination of unsafe conditions.

Share best practices related to safe working at height, handling compressed gases, material handling, and other critical tasks.

5. Reporting of Failures in Safety Controls for High-Risk Activities

Report through the Intelex App any failures in safety control measures for high-risk tasks such as:

• Working at Height
• Electrical Installation & Related Works
• Material Handling
• Excavation
• Hot Work
• Loading/Unloading of Materials, Panels, Equipment

Preparation of Safety Documentation

Prepare and maintain reports for daily observations as required:

• Hazard Reporting Forms
• Near Miss Reports
• Root Cause Analysis & 4Q Reports

Risk Assessments & Method Statements aligned with ABB Code of Practice

7. Incident Investigation Support

Provide detailed inputs during incident investigations as per ABBs Investigation Checklist and procedures for any incidents occurring within the assigned work area.

8. Safety Awareness & Engagement Activities

Promote employee participation in:

• National Safety Week
• World Environment Day
• Global Health & Safety Week
• Other ABB
