Job Description
The role will focus on talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning & development, compliance, and HR analytics while partnering closely with business leaders to support organizational objectives and foster a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for zonal and business-critical positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate assessments, offer rollouts, and joining formalities.
- Ensure timely closure of positions while maintaining quality of hires.
- Facilitate seamless onboarding and integration of new employees.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and business leadership.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, productivity, and retention.
- Support implementation of employee wellness, recognition, and communication programs.
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
- Build strong employee connect and maintain a positive work environment.
3. Performance Management
- Coordinate and facilitate the annual and periodic performance management cycle.
- Guide managers and employees on goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Track completion of appraisal processes and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Analyze performance trends and support talent development discussions.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and nurture high-potential talent.
4. Learning & Development
- Identify capability gaps and training requirements across the zone.
- Coordinate learning interventions, workshops, and developmental programs.
- Track training effectiveness and employee participation.
- Support creation of individual development plans (IDPs).
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
5. HR Operations, Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Support audits and maintain HR documentation as per organizational standards.
- Communicate and implement HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor adherence to HR processes across locations within the zone.
- Ensure timely completion of employee lifecycle processes, including confirmations, transfers, and exits.
6. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain HR dashboards and management information systems (MIS).
- Track and analyze key HR metrics such as:
- Recruitment Turnaround Time (TAT)
- Attrition Rate
- Employee Engagement Scores
- Training Coverage
- Headcount Movement
- Diversity Metrics
- Generate periodic reports and provide actionable insights to zonal leadership and HR management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent Management Qualification from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, infrastructure, project-based, or allied sectors.
- Experience in handling end-to-end HR generalist activities is preferred.
