Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Recruiter to manage the end-to-end recruitment process for our Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Defence business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and hiring skilled professionals across engineering, production, quality, supply chain, corporate, and support functions. Experience in manufacturing or engineering recruitment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requirement gathering to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and job specifications.
  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, campus hiring, consultants, and social media.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate technical and managerial interview rounds with stakeholders.
  • Negotiate salary, prepare offer letters, and manage offer rollouts.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance ratio.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for engineering and manufacturing roles.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and applicable labour laws.
  • Coordinate pre-employment verification, documentation, and onboarding activities.
  • Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment drives, job fairs, and campus hiring programs.
  • Maintain recruitment records and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRMIS.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
  • 26 years of recruitment experience, preferably in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or Engineering industries.
  • Experience handling both lateral and entry-level hiring.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and sourcing strategies.
  • Experience using job portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, and ATS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
  • Good knowledge of employment laws and recruitment best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience hiring for aerospace, defence, precision manufacturing, heavy engineering, or industrial manufacturing companies.
  • Familiarity with engineering skill sets, technical competencies, and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with campus hiring, apprenticeship hiring, and volume recruitment is an advantage.
