Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior HR Manager to lead and manage all HR & Admin operations for our Parent Company and Sister Concerns. You will be responsible for driving HR strategy, compliance, and team performance across multiple units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & HR Operations
- Lead, guide, and manage a team of HR Assistants/Executives across multiple branches/ sister concerns.
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations from manpower planning, recruitment to exit processing for all companies.
- Drive efficient allocation of human resources based on production and business requirements.
- Ensure on-time salary processing for all units. Approve and monitor bulk salary upload on payroll systems.
- Review and approve OT payments, leave, attendance, and other payroll inputs.
2. Compliance, Statutory & Government Liaison
- Ensure 100% compliance with ESI, EPFO, LWF, PT, Bonus, Factory Act and other labour laws across all entities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Labour Department, Inspector of Factories, ESI, PF, and other government authorities.
- Represent the company during audits, inspections, and resolve statutory issues.
- Own all e-filings and ensure timely submissions across parent and sister concerns.
3. IR, Administration & Facility Management
- Maintain healthy Industrial Relations and handle employee grievances at senior level.
- Oversee Security Agency management: contracts, agreements, payments, and compliance.
- Manage Housekeeping, Canteen & Transport operations - vendor selection, contracts, service standards and compliance.
- Approve issuance of warning letters, disciplinary actions, and policy enforcement.
4. Strategy, Documentation & Reporting
- Implement HR policies, SOPs and ensure proper documentation across units.
- Ensure maintenance of unit-wise statutory registers: salary, leave, warning letters, resignation, out-passes, permission slips etc.
- Conduct regular unit visits for inspections, compliance checks, grievance handling, and during payroll.
- Drive recruitment for skilled and unskilled workforce in bulk as per business needs
- Prepare HR dashboards, MIS and present reports to Management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Education: MBA HR / MSW / PG Diploma in Labour Laws. LLB will be an added advantage.
- Experience: 5 - 10 years in HR, with minimum 3 years in a Managerial role in Manufacturing/Textile/Warehousing. Experience handling multiple locations/group companies is mandatory.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience in leading an HR team and managing multi-unit operations
- Expert in GreytHR ERP or similar HRMS. Strong knowledge of bulk salary upload & payroll processing
- Deep expertise in Labor Laws, ESI, EPFO, Factory Act, and statutory compliance
- Strong experience in Industrial Relations, union handling, and government liaison
- Demonstrated experience in bulk hiring, vendor management for Security, Housekeeping, Canteen & Transport
- Other Skills:
- Language: Fluent in English & Kannada. Proficiency in Telugu & Tamil is highly preferred
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- High on ownership, integrity, and ability to work under pressure
