Job Title- Executive - Deputy Manager- HR & Administration
Department- Human Resources & Administration
Reporting To- Site Head / Project Head / Business Head
Role Overview
The HR & Administration is responsible for managing end-to-end human resources and administrative operations at the assigned location. The role ensures effective HR service delivery, statutory compliance, employee engagement, workforce management, and smooth administration to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance support, employee engagement, and separation processes.
- Plan and coordinate manpower requirements in line with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and statutory registers.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave administration, and HR reporting.
- Manage employee relations by addressing grievances and promoting a positive work environment.
- Support implementation of HR policies, processes, and organizational initiatives.
- Coordinate learning and development, employee welfare, and engagement activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective HR service delivery.
Administration
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations to ensure smooth functioning of the office or site.
- Manage facilities, housekeeping, security, transportation, accommodation, and other support services as applicable.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Monitor administrative budgets, process invoices, and implement cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure availability and maintenance of office infrastructure, equipment, and utilities.
- Maintain necessary administrative records, licenses, and compliance documentation.
- Support business continuity by ensuring efficient workplace management and administrative support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Relevant experience in HR and Administration, preferably in manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, industrial, or service organizations.
Experience
- 8-15 years of progressive experience in HR & Administration, including exposure to employee relations, compliance, and administration.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
