Hospital Liaison Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Liaise with Government Departments including Health Department, Fire Department, Municipal Corporation, Pollution Control Board, Labour Department, and Drug Control Authorities.
• Coordinate statutory approvals, registrations, licenses, and renewals required for hospital operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact during inspections by regulatory authorities.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government officials, healthcare organizations, and external agencies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect documents required for regulatory submissions.
• Track compliance deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports and statutory documents.
• Follow up with authorities for approvals, NOCs, and certifications.
• Support NABH/JCI accreditation requirements related to statutory compliance and external coordination.
• Maintain accurate records of all correspondence, approvals, and licenses.
• Keep management informed of changes in government regulations affecting hospital operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA/MPH/MHA preferred).
• 3-8 years of experience in hospital liaisoning, healthcare administration, or statutory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of hospital licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in NABH/JCI-accredited hospitals.
• Existing network with local government departments and healthcare authorities.
• Familiarity with hospital statutory compliance and healthcare regulations.
