Hiring Transport Executive - Chennai (Chrompet)

Role & responsibilities

• Operations Management: Plan and schedule daily transport activities, oversee route optimization to minimize travel time and expenses, and supervise vehicle fleets.
• Vendor & Driver Management: Coordinate with transport vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage driver schedules, safety standards, and performance.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure vehicles and drivers comply with local statutory regulations, maintain required permits, and handle incident/accident reports.
• Reporting & Documentation: Track transportation budgets, maintain accurate records of fuel and vehicle maintenance, and process vendor billing.
• Stakeholder Support: Address queries and complaints from staff or clients, arrange emergency backups for breakdowns or delays, and provide service updates.

Strong Excel skills

Salary : 32000 Gross + monthly bonus
