Role & responsibilities

• Review and edit academic, scientific, or technical content for grammar, punctuation, syntax, and style
  
• Ensure consistency in terminology, formatting, and structure across documents
  
• Collaborate with authors, content creators, and publishing teams to meet quality standards and deadlines
  
• Apply client-specific style guides (APA, AMA, Chicago, etc.) and follow e-publishing best practices
  
• Perform quality checks and final proofreads before publication
  

Preferred candidate profile

• 2+ years of experience in language editing, copy editing, or academic publishing
  
• Strong command of the English language with keen attention to detail
  
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools and style guides
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
