JD:
- Expertise in routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, STP, VLANs) and broad exposure to firewall / VPN technologies.
- Handson experience with firmware / OS upgrades of major network vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Strong change management: ability to plan and risk assess, coordinate maintenance windows, perform rollbacks.
- Experience with patch deployment, Patch Management, verification, monitoring.
- Proficiency with network monitoring / logging / alerting tools for observing device health, firmware versions, performance metrics.
- Strong communication skills
