Operational & Outsourcing Risk Manager

Experience: 78 years

Role Summary

Strengthen the Operational Risk and Outsourcing Risk Management framework, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations and enhancing enterprise-wide risk governance.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Risk Management

Implement Operational Risk framework aligned with RBI guidelines

Drive RCSA across business units

Monitor operational risks and control gaps

Track audit and RBI findings

Develop and monitor KRIs

Support incident / loss data management and root cause analysis

Outsourcing Risk Management

Ensure compliance with RBI outsourcing guidelines

Conduct vendor due diligence

Classify outsourcing arrangements (Financial / IT / Non-financial / Material outsourcing)

Review vendor agreements and SLAs

Monitor critical / material vendors through performance reviews, risk assessments, and site visits

Manage outsourcing register and regulatory reporting requirements

Governance & Reporting

Prepare risk reports for management and board

Support regulatory audits and inspections

Update policies and frameworks

Process & Change Risk

Assess new products/process changes

Ensure risk controls in project implementation

Monitoring & Assurance

Conduct thematic reviews and control testing

Perform adverse media monitoring for vendors / third-party agents

Ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations

Key Skills

RBI regulatory knowledge, RCSA, KRI, vendor risk, stakeholder management

Qualifications

Bachelors degree / MBA / FRM
