Hiring For a Demand Planner (Mumbai only)

Role & responsibilities

1. Material Planning:

• Plan RM & PM requirements based on production schedules and

forecasts.

2. Material Shortage Management:

• Monitor and identify shortages in RM & PM inventory.
• Take corrective actions to avoid production downtime due to material

unavailability.

3. Supplier Coordination & Quotation Management:

• Float enquiries and collect quotations from approved suppliers.
• Prepare and analyze quotation comparison sheets for price, quality, and

lead time evaluation.

4. Purchase Order (PO) Management:

• Prepare and issue POs as per approved procurement plan.
• Ensure accuracy in PO details including quantity, pricing, and delivery

schedule.

• Track PO status and ensure on-time delivery.

5. Inventory Monitoring:

• Regularly monitor RM & PM inventory levels to maintain adequate stock.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team for material receipts and stock

updates.

6. Vendor Follow-up & Logistics Coordination:

• Follow up with vendors for timely dispatches and delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth material movement

and receipt.

7. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate procurement records including supplier quotations,

POs, and delivery details.
