Role & responsibilities
This is a sales profile with focus in achieving and exceeding the set objectives and financial targets.
1 Territory Knowledge:
Should have worked for a minimum period of 5 years in around Chennai in the area of Sales, preferably in Electronics and Automation Components & Products.
2Customer/Product Knowledge:
RS Components India's major business is via direct customer interaction
Having said that the core experience of the person should be in direct sales in the arena of Industrial sales, preferably in the following product ranges:
Electronics and automation products.
3Field Sales Orientation
Being in the high connect and high service industry the role holders a major portion of the day is spent conducting field visits, local as well as outstation

1. Self-Initiator

3. Execution Rigor
5Communication Skills
- Should have excellent communication skills
- Should be fluent in the local language
KRA:
- Achieving predetermined sales and cost management targets.
- Developing, implementing, and overseeing the call cycle procedure to maximize customer engagement with both potential and existing customers, in order to meet objectives and targets.
- Generating monthly and quarterly reports.
- Ensuring consistent use of Salesforce software within the team and taking responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of recorded data.
- Facilitating prompt and satisfactory resolution of customer inquiries and complaints in the region.
- Providing strategic managerial input and feedback to the management.
- Preparing, planning, and conducting effective field team meetings to deliver and monitor company/regional objectives.
- Traveling to various territories with the objective of achieving the aforementioned goals.
