Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) is an Indian public sector undertaking under the ownership of the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. HCL is a vertically integrated copper producer, engaged in a wide spectrum of activities ranging from mining, beneficiation, smelting, refining and casting of refined copper metal. It is the only Indian company producing copper concentrates and refined copper metal from primary indigenous resources.
