Head - Quality Management System - Steel Manufacturing Business (15-20 yrs)

We are hiring an experienced leader for the role of Head - Quality Management System (QMS) with one of the leading producers of a wide variety of speciality steels for critical end-use applications.

Industry: Steel Manufacturing (Mandatory)

Role Objective:

Drive a robust, system-driven manufacturing and quality culture through process standardization, governance, compliance, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end QMS as Management Representative (MR)

- Drive process standardization, SOP adherence, process controls & governance across manufacturing operations

- Establish process change management systems and ensure approved, controlled execution of changes

- Lead root cause analysis, CAPA, quality reviews, audits & permanent closure of recurring issues

- Ensure compliance with ISO / EMS / OHSAS / IATF systems, KPIs & management objectives

- Monitor quality data, process trends, deviations & compliance records for continuous improvement

- Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Sales & Technical teams to ensure process stability & accountability

- Drive TPM, 5S, Kaizen and operational excellence initiatives

- Support internal/external audits, customer visits, audit preparedness &best-practice implementation

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Steel Manufacturing (Mandatory)

- Experience in organizations with annual turnover of - 2,000-3,000 Cr preferred

- Strong exposure to QMS, ISO / IATF / EMS / OHSAS systems, audits, CAPA & process compliance

Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Mandatory) | M.Tech Metallurgy - Added Advantage

Lead Auditor Certification - Mandatory
