Job Description
- Formulation of Annual and Monthly Production Plans
- Coordination with sales team on delivery order and prioritization of delivery Oversee the accurate projection of raw material requirement
- Also ensures the smooth flow of raw material in the units to avoid any production loss due to non-availability of raw material
- Ensure the timely release of schedule for processing at the various lines and production units (ie
- heat plan, rolling plan, casting plan and dispatch plan) Ensures minimal scheduling error and supports the production team by strengthening the production planning process
- Leads the team for daily meeting on production planning to review and update plans
- Analyses plant performance against targets on a periodic basis and undertake measures to ensure maximum plant utilization and productivity
- Ensures regular generation and analysis of reports (ie
- Production report, dispatch report, inventory analysis and control report) Coordinates with all related departments to obtain required inputs and other information for production planning and control at the plant

Educational Qualification B.Tech/B.E./Diploma Mechanical/Metallurgy Preferred MBA (Operations strategy) Experience 12 15 years experience in steel industry
