Head of Quality Control

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the Quality Control department across all company projects.

* Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS).

* Establish quality standards, SOPs, inspection procedures, and quality benchmarks for all construction activities.

* Ensure compliance with IS Codes, National Building Code (NBC), RERA requirements, and project specifications.

* Monitor quality from excavation to project handover, ensuring every stage meets company standards.

* Conduct regular quality audits and inspections across all project sites.

* Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Checklists.

* Coordinate with Project Heads, Site Engineers, Consultants, Architects, Structural Engineers, Contractors, and Clients on quality-related matters.

* Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

* Ensure quality of concrete, reinforcement, waterproofing, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing works, MEP installations, faade systems, and external development.

* Monitor laboratory testing of construction materials and ensure compliance with approved specifications.

* Ensure all materials are inspected and approved before use.

* Lead snagging, pre-handover inspections, and final quality certification.

* Develop quality dashboards, KPIs, and management reports for senior leadership.

* Mentor and train Quality Engineers and Site Teams on best construction practices.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize rework and enhance customer satisfaction.

* Collaborate with procurement and design teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated from the planning stage.

* Promote a strong culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

## Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).

* Master's Degree in Construction Management or Quality Management is preferred.

* Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001 will be an added advantage.

## Experience

* 15–20+ years of experience in construction quality management.

* Minimum 8 years in a senior quality leadership role.

* Proven experience in high-rise residential and commercial projects.

* Experience with reputed real estate developers or leading construction companies.

* Strong exposure to Mivan construction, RCC structures, premium finishing, and modern construction technologies.
