Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Lead the organization's Environment, Health & Safety function across corporate and project sites.
- Develop and implement EHS strategies, policies, and management systems aligned with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including the BOCW Act, Labour Laws, Environmental Regulations, and other applicable EHS standards.
- Conduct EHS audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Oversee site safety programs including PTW, LOTO, Work at Height, Confined Space, Hot Work, Lifting Operations, and Electrical Safety.
- Lead EHS training, safety awareness programs, emergency response planning, and performance reporting.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure safety compliance across projects.
- Drive environmental management initiatives, sustainability practices, and continuous improvement in EHS performance.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Environmental Science.
- Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety is mandatory.
- NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent certification preferred.
- ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in MEP, HVAC, EPC, Construction, Infrastructure, or Industrial Projects.
- Strong knowledge of Indian EHS legislation, audit & compliance management, risk assessment, and team leadership.
