As the Head of Cybersecurity, you will serve as the primary architect and guardian of the organization's digital infrastructure, steering the strategic vision for information security across all business units. In this high-impact role, you will lead cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate complex cyber threats while ensuring seamless alignment between security protocols and business objectives.
You will act as a key advisor to the executive leadership team, translating technical risks into actionable business insights. Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with long-term business goals to protect critical digital assets and intellectual property.
- Oversee the end-to-end IT risk management framework, conducting regular assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implementing robust controls to minimize organizational exposure.
- Lead the governance and compliance functions, ensuring all IT operations adhere to global data privacy standards and internal security policies to avoid legal and financial liabilities.
- Manage the Identity and Access Management (IAM) lifecycle, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive systems, thereby reducing the risk of internal and external breaches.
- Direct the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning efforts to ensure the organization remains operational and resilient in the face of unforeseen cyber incidents.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing security team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence to stay ahead of emerging threat vectors.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrate deep expertise in designing and managing enterprise-grade network security architectures and advanced threat detection systems.
- Exhibit strong leadership capabilities in managing large, diverse teams, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at the C-suite level through clear, data-driven communication.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of global IT compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements, supported by professional certifications such as CISM or CISA.
- Showcase an analytical mindset to navigate complex IT governance challenges, balancing the need for stringent security controls with the requirement for organizational agility.
- Maintain a proactive approach to risk management, with the ability to translate technical security metrics into strategic business outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
- Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a track record of successfully navigating the demands of a high-pressure, metro-based corporate environment.
