Job Description
i. Bachelors degree in Security Management, Law Enforcement, Criminology, or a related field. Well versed with MS Office.
ii. 8-10 years of experience in security management, preferably in an educational institution or corporate environment. Retired personnel from the Armed Forces, or Paramilitary forces will be preferred.
iii. Strong leadership and crisis management skills. Familiarity with modern security technologies and surveillance systems.
iv. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with flexible working hours.
v. Security risk assessment & threat management. Crisis and emergency response planning. Knowledge of legal regulations and compliance related to campus security.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Shall be responsible to lead the university's safety and security department, develop and implement comprehensive policies, ensuring 24/7 campus security for students, faculty, staff and visitors while complying with legal and institutional regulations
- Shall develop security strategies and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response agencies
- Shall be managing emergency preparedness and crisis management, coordinating with stakeholders, optimizing resources
- Shall be responsible for recruitment and training of security personnel, documentation and providing continuous departmental support
