About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Guidewire React Developer with hands-on experience in Guidewire Digital, Jutro Framework, and React.js to develop modern, scalable, and user-friendly digital applications for the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have experience building responsive web applications integrated with Guidewire InsuranceSuite products such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter, while leveraging modern front-end technologies and best development practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and the Guidewire Jutro Framework.
- Develop and customize digital experiences for Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
- Integrate frontend applications with Guidewire APIs, REST services, and backend systems.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Guidewire developers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop reusable UI components and ensure consistency across applications.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement enhancements.
- Follow secure coding standards, CI/CD practices, and software development best practices.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 38 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in React.js.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Digital Portal and Jutro Framework.
- Experience integrating applications with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI development.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
- Knowledge of Redux, React Hooks, Context API, and component-based architecture.
- Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, and UI/UX best practices.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Guidewire Digital or Jutro certification.
- Experience with Node.js or Java-based backend services.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
Domain Experience:
- Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of insurance policy administration, claims management, billing, and customer digital experiences.
- Familiarity with Guidewire InsuranceSuite architecture and digital transformation initiatives.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
