Guidewire Developer
Location: Remote
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Guidewire XCenters, particularly PolicyCenter, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in Guidewire implementations. This role requires the ability to design, develop, and enhance solutions within Guidewire platforms while working closely with onshore teams and business stakeholders. The candidate must be capable of owning end-to-end delivery of assigned components with minimal supervision, participating in architecture discussions, and providing technical recommendations. The role operates within a distributed onshore-offshore delivery model and demands strong ownership, accountability, and proactive communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and enhance solutions within Guidewire XCenters (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter)
  • Work closely with onshore teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations
  • Own end-to-end delivery of assigned components with minimal supervision
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and performance considerations
  • Actively contribute to team collaboration across geographies (onshore/offshore model)
  • Ramp up quickly and deliver with minimal handholding
  • Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders
Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of IT experience
  • 5+ years in Guidewire implementations
  • Strong hands-on expertise in PolicyCenter
  • Proficiency in GOSU programming language
  • Guidewire data model knowledge
  • Guidewire integration patterns
  • Experience in distributed/onshore-offshore delivery models
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Client-facing readiness
Preferred (Bonus) Skills:
  • Guidewire Cloud experience
