A Guidewire ClaimCenter BSA works closely with claims business teams and technology teams to implement, configure, and optimize ClaimCenter. The role focuses on translating claims process requirements into functional solutions within Guidewire.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering Analysis
Engage with Claims stakeholders (FNOL, Adjusters, Litigation, Recovery teams) to gather requirements
Document:
o Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
o Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
o User stories and acceptance criteria
Perform gap analysis between existing claims processes and ClaimCenter capabilities

ClaimCenter Functional Expertise
Configure and support:
o FNOL (First Notice of Loss)
o Claim lifecycle (open, assign, investigate, settle, close)
o Exposure, reserves, payments, recoveries
o Activities, workflows, business rules
Understand ClaimCenter data model and integrations

Stakeholder Management
Act as a liaison between:
o Claims business users
o Guidewire developers (Gosu/configuration)
o QA/testing teams
Facilitate workshops, demos, and walkthrough sessions
---
Documentation Process Modeling
Create:
o Use cases, process flows (BPMN/UML)
o Data mapping documents
o Interface designs (for integrations)
Maintain traceability (RTM)
---
Testing QA Support
Develop and review test scenarios and test cases
Support:
o SIT (System Integration Testing)
o UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Validate claims processing scenarios end-to-end
Assist in defect tracking and triage
---
Agile Delivery
Participate in Agile ceremonies:
o Sprint planning
o Daily stand-ups
o Backlog grooming
Refine stories and define acceptance criteria
Ensure business readiness for releases

Required Skills
Domain Knowledge
Strong understanding of Claims Management in insurance
o Claims lifecycle
o Adjuster workflows
o Payments, reserves, recoveries
Experience in PC (Property Casualty) preferred

Guidewire Expertise
Hands-on or functional experience with:
o Guidewire ClaimCenter
o Claim configurations workflows
Familiarity with:
o Exposure management
o Financials (reserves, payments)
o ISO/third-party integrations (optional)

Technical Awareness
Basic knowledge of:
o Gosu (nice to have)
o Web Services / APIs / integrations
Familiar with:
o SQL (basic queries)
o Jira / Azure DevOps

Soft Skills
Strong communication stakeholder management

Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in IT / Engineering / Business

Prior Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation experience (critical)

Insurance certifications (CPCU, AINS) added advantage
