Guidewire BillingCenter Developer

Edu Qualification:
BTech/BE/MTech/MCA

Skills:
Strong experience with Guidewire BillingCenter configuration and development
Proficiency in the Gosu programming language
Hands-on experience with BillingCenter configuration, workflows, and business rules
Experience with BillingCenter integrations using REST/SOAP web services, messaging, and plugins
Strong understanding of Billing lifecycle processes (Billing, Payments, Invoicing, Collections, Delinquency, and Refunds)

Familiarity with Guidewire InsuranceSuite and integration with PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter
Experience working with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
Knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Experience with batch processes, scheduled jobs, and data migration activities
Exposure to Guidewire Cloud or cloud-based deployments is preferred
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools like Jenkins
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Relevant Guidewire certifications preferred

Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and customize applications in Guidewire BillingCenter.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
Develop and maintain BillingCenter integrations using APIs, messaging, and plugins.
Configure billing plans, payment plans, invoices, and account management workflows.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal system downtime.
Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and development artifacts.
Support system upgrades, patches, and release management activities.
Stay updated on emerging Guidewire technologies and industry best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing sessions.
