Job Title: Group Financial Controller

Reporting To: Chairman & President
Location: Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The Group Financial Controller will serve as the senior-most financial leader responsible for driving financial strategy, governance, and sustainable growth across all entities within the Group. This role goes beyond traditional financial control and will act as a strategic partner to the Chairman, President, and Board in shaping long-term financial direction, capital allocation, and institutional growth.

The incumbent will establish strong financial governance frameworks, strengthen enterprise risk management, and ensure that the Group operates with the highest standards of financial integrity, transparency, and compliance.

Strategic Leadership & Advisory

  • Act as a key financial advisor to the Chairman, President, and Board on strategic planning, financial sustainability, and growth initiatives.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support expansion plans, investments, partnerships, and new initiatives across the Group.
  • Lead financial modelling, scenario planning, and risk analysis for major business decisions and capital investments.
  • Contribute to long-term financial strategy aligned with the Groups vision and institutional objectives.

Enterprise Financial Governance

  • Lead and oversee financial governance across all Group entities ensuring alignment with best-in-class financial management practices.
  • Ensure strong financial stewardship, transparency, and accountability in financial reporting and operations.
  • Drive financial policy development, governance frameworks, and internal financial protocols across the organization.

Group Financial Reporting & Performance Management

  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements across all entities within the Group.
  • Present strategic financial insights and performance reviews to senior leadership and the Board.
  • Establish financial performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to support leadership decision-making.

Financial Planning, Capital Allocation & Treasury

  • Lead enterprise-level financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the Group.
  • Provide oversight on treasury management, capital allocation strategies, and liquidity planning.
  • Ensure optimal financial resource utilization to support long-term sustainability and growth.

Risk Management, Audit & Compliance

  • Strengthen internal control frameworks and enterprise risk management systems across all Group entities.
  • Oversee internal and external audit processes ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and financial governance requirements including FCRA where applicable.

Systems, Data & Financial Transformation

  • Drive modernization of financial systems, MIS frameworks, and reporting mechanisms across the Group.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance financial analytics, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish integrated financial reporting structures that support real-time strategic decision making.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance, with significant exposure to multi-entity or group-level financial management.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with senior leadership, Boards, and governance bodies.
  • Strong expertise in financial strategy, governance, risk management, audits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in leading finance teams and driving enterprise-wide financial transformation initiatives.
