Qualifications

Key qualifications and competencies for this position include:

• Strong proficiency in apparel CAD design, textile design, or graphic design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial apparel graphics across multiple categories and customer segments.
• Ability to create original, trend-right graphics and artwork for apparel programs.
• Expertise in preparing production-ready artwork and technical CAD packages.
• Experience creating CADs for children's apparel with an understanding of commercial print techniques and production limitations.
• Strong understanding of current U.S. market trends, consumer preferences, and color direction.
• Ability to translate trend concepts into graphics across multiple programs, categories, and age groups, including boys and girls apparel.
• Proficiency in repeat patterns, color separation, print techniques, and print production processes.
• Strong color sense and the ability to develop cohesive color stories that align with customer and market needs.
• Experience with 3D design tools and digital product visualization platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
• Understanding of apparel construction and how graphics interact with garment silhouettes, fabrication, and embellishment techniques.
