Job Description

Role & responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a GolangDeveloper to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate is a backend specialist with a deep, hands-on understanding of Microservices architecture and the container orchestration ecosystem.

You will work primarily with Golang to develop scalable services and leverage Kubernetes for deployment and lifecycle management. While Python is part of our ecosystem, it is secondary to your primary expertise in Go.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Architect, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Golang.
  • Microservices: Design and implement cloud-native applications based on Microservices principles (service discovery, resilience, and distributed tracing).
  • Container Orchestration: Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters (Helm, Operators, CRDs).
  • System Architecture: Collaborate with the team to design scalable, high-availability systems, ensuring they are fault-tolerant and observable.
  • CI/CD: Implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment workflows.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance at the code and infrastructure levels.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, testable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Qualifications

  • Total Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
  • Primary Stack: Strong proficiency in Golang (Go) with experience in writing production-grade code.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience managing and deploying applications on Kubernetes (including networking, storage, and security).
  • Microservices: Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining Microservices in a production environment (experience with gRPC, REST, message queues, and distributed systems is a must).
  • Database Skills: Experience with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases.
  • DevOps Mindset: Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform is a plus).

Nice-to-Have Skills (Secondary)

  • Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or legacy service maintenance.
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio/Linkerd).
  • Contributions to open-source Go projects.
