Golang Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GoLang Developer with strong expertise in IoT systems to design and build scalable, high-performance backend platforms for connected devices and edge ecosystems. The role involves working on IoT data pipelines, edge computing, and real-time device integration, ensuring secure and scalable solutions across distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services in GoLang for IoT platforms
• Integrate IoT platforms with cloud services (AWS/Azure IoT Hub, edge gateways)
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and DevOps teams for seamless system integration
• Ensure secure device onboarding, authentication, and lifecycle management
• Optimise systems for low latency, high throughput, and edge performance
• Develop and maintain microservices architectures and APIs
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and testing workflow
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and scalability

Requirements

• Expert-level GoLang programming with strong concurrency (goroutines, channels)
• Extensive experience in microservices architecture and REST APIs
• Experience with edge computing / device-to-cloud integration
• Hands-on with Docker & Kubernetes (containerised deployments)
• Expertise in data streaming platforms (Kafka / RabbitMQ / MQTT brokers)
• Knowledge of authentication & security (OAuth2, TLS, device certificates)
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
