Job Description

Job Title : GoAnywhere MFT SRE / Operations Support Engineer
Location : Offshore India
Experience : 4 - 8 years

Key Resposibilities:

Operations and Enchancement Support:

Provide L1/L2 production support and L3 enhancements for GoAnywhere MFT file transfer jobs, schedules, workflows, and operational issues across Finance-related integrations.

Monitoring & Incident Management:
Monitor file transfer executions, identify failures, troubleshoot job errors, coordinate recovery actions, and support timely incident resolution.

File Transfer Support:
Support SFTP, network share, AS2, and related secure file transfer processes used across Finance interfaces.

Job Scheduling:
Support scheduled and ad-hoc GoAnywhere jobs, including validation of job completion and escalation of failures as required.

Finance Integration Support:
Support file exchanges involving finance systems and upstream/downstream applications, including ERP, Workday, banking partners, payroll providers, tax authorities, and internal finance applications.

Stability & Reliability:
Apply SRE practices to improve operational stability, scalability, secure transmission, and change safety across the GoAnywhere MFT platform.

Change & Release Support:
Support deployment validation, job configuration changes, incident-based fixes, and planned maintenance activities in coordination with client and TCS teams.

Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills:

GoAnywhereMFT:

Hands-on experience in GoAnywhere MFT administration, workflow monitoring, file transfer operations, and troubleshooting.

Secure File Transfer Protocols:
Knowledge of SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, and related secure transmission methods (also including SCP, PeSIT, AS3, AS4 as applicable).

Job Scheduling & Monitoring:
Experience supporting scheduled jobs, batch file transfers, workflow execution, alert monitoring, and failure recovery.

Linux/Windows Basics:
Ability to navigate servers, check logs, validate file paths, permissions, and connectivity issues.

Scripting Knowledge:
Basic scripting knowledge using Shell, PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages for operational automation and troubleshooting.

Incident & Problem Management:
Experience handling tickets, production incidents, root cause analysis, and SLA-based support.

Finance Domain Exposure:
Understanding of finance-related data flows such as invoices, payments, payroll, vendor files, GL data, reconciliation, or banking file exchanges is preferred.
Automation:

Exposure to event-driven file transfers, automated partner onboarding, and API-led integrations.
