Job Description: Operator - GLR (Glass Lined Reactor)

#### Role Summary
Responsible for safe and efficient operation of Glass Lined Reactors used in Micro Crystalline Cellulose manufacturing. Candidate should have hands-on experience in chemical plant operations and follow cGMP norms.
#### Key Responsibilities
- GLR Operations: Charging of raw materials like pulp, acid, caustic, and solvents as per batch card and SOP
- Process Monitoring: Control and monitor temperature, pressure, RPM, pH, and reaction time on panel/DCS
- Batch Execution: Carry out hydrolysis, bleaching, neutralization, and washing cycles as per MCC process
- Sampling & QC Coordination: Collect in-process samples and take action based on QC reports
- Cleaning: Perform reactor CIP, line flushing, and ensure equipment is ready for next batch
- Documentation: Maintain BMR, log sheets, equipment records, and report any deviations
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow cGMP, safety protocols, and use PPE while handling chemicals
- Basic Troubleshooting: Do pre-start checks, identify leaks, gasket/agitator issues and inform maintenance
- Material Transfer: Operate pumps and valves for transferring slurry to centrifuge/dryer/next stage
#### Candidate Requirements
- Education: 10th / 12th Pass. ITI Chemical / Diploma in Chemical preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years in chemical industry. GLR handling experience in MCC/Pharma/Chemical plant is must
- Preference: Immediate joiners will be given 1st preference
- Other: Candidate must be from chemical industry background
#### Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of GLR operations, valves, pumps, and agitators
- Ability to follow SOPs, batch records, and maintain quality standards
- Good understanding of safety handling for acids, caustics, and solvents
- Shift flexibility and physical fitness for plant operations
#### Work Details
- Shift: Rotational shifts including night shift
- Location: Aspino Specialty Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. (ASCPL).
