Job Description
Extract and digitize 2D features from high-resolution satellite imagery.
Create & update GIS layers (roads, buildings, LULC, water bodies, infrastructure). Manage GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on diverse geospatial projects. Generate maps, reports, and metadata for project delivery.
Required Skills: Proficiency in QGIS (mandatory); knowledge of ArcGIS is an added advantage.
- Experience in digitization, spatial analysis & georeferencing of large datasets. Knowledge of satellite imagery interpretation and thematic mapping. Familiarity with QC standards & GIS data management best practices.
- Strong understanding of coordinate systems and projections.
