GIS Analyst

Job Summary

We're looking for a GIS Analyst to process, analyse and quality-check geospatial data across our survey, mapping and LiDAR projects - turning raw drone, LiDAR and survey data into accurate, client-ready maps, models and datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and analyse geospatial data from drone imagery, LiDAR point clouds and field surveys.
• Produce orthophotos, DEM/DSM/DTM, contours, 3D mesh models and topographic maps.
• Perform feature extraction, digitization and attribute mapping (buildings, roads, utilities, drainage, vegetation, boundaries).
• Prepare and maintain GIS datasets - shapefiles, geodatabases, KML/KMZ and CAD-compatible outputs.
• Run topology checks, edge matching and QA/QC for positional, thematic and logical accuracy.
• Support DPR, urban-planning and asset-management deliverables with map production and spatial analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's in Geography, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing or related field.
• 2-5 years' hands-on GIS experience (strong fresh graduates considered).
• Proficiency in ArcGIS and/or QGIS; working knowledge of Global Mapper, AutoCAD and photogrammetry/LiDAR tools (TerraSolid, Agisoft Metashape, Autodesk ReCap) a strong plus.
• Understanding of coordinate systems, datums, projections and survey accuracy standards.
• Strong attention to detail and data-quality discipline.

Nice to have

• LiDAR point-cloud classification; exposure to Scan-to-BIM / digital twins / 3D city modelling; Python or model-builder automation for GIS workflows.
