Job Description
(GETs / ITI) to support various shopfloor functions including assembly, machine operation, fabrication, maintenance, and quality checks . The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in mechanical systems and a hands-on approach to working with tools, machines, and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in machine setup, operation, and routine maintenance.
- Support production and assembly of mechanical components and systems.
- Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Operate basic hand tools, measuring instruments, and machines (lathe, drill, etc).
- Participate in inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline on the shopfloor.
- Provide support to seniors in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Document work activities as per defined formats or SOPs.
Key Skills Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (for GETs) or ITI (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, etc).
- 0 2 years of experience or industrial training.
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and measuring tools.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different shopfloor processes.
- Team player with good work ethics and discipline.
- Exposure to CNC machines, welding, or assembly is an advantage.
