GENERAL LITIGATION Professional

Legal Advisory & Case Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of complex litigation cases, ensuring that client matters are handled efficiently and effectively, while maintaining full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and procedural requirements.

Client Representation: Represent clients in various litigation matters, including civil, general and administrative cases, both at trial and appellate levels. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients ensuring high level of satisfaction and trust.

Independent Litigation & Counsel Coordination: Independently handle legal matters, including appearing before and briefing counsels in Trial Courts and High Courts, as well as other adjudicating authorities, tribunals, and commissions.

Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth legal research, analyze case laws, statutes, and regulations to formulate sound legal strategies for clients.

Client Counseling: Advice and counsel clients on legal matters, providing clear and practical advice while maintaining a strong client relationship.

Business Development: Actively contribute to the firms business development efforts by attracting and retaining clients, participating in marketing initiatives, and expanding the firms litigation practice.

Mentorship and Training: Provide mentorship and structured training to junior associates, fostering their professional development and growth within the firm, while enhancing overall team capabilities and performance.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable ethical and professional standards and guidelines

Drafting & Legal Documentation: Drafting, reviewing, and vetting a wide range of litigation documents in compliance with procedural and substantive law, including petitions, plaints, written statements, applications, counter affidavits, rejoinders, statements of claim and defense, affidavits, briefs, and written submissions, as well as legal notices, letters, and responses thereto, ensuring clarity, factual accuracy, and strong strategic positioning across all stages of litigation.

Qualified LLB/ LLM from a recognised university with 6/7 years of extensive experience in the relevant practice area.

In-depth knowledge of practise procedures for High Court, NCLT, DRT, DRAT, NGT and other Tribunals and Commissions.

Drive for technical superiority by staying abreast of developments in the law and be the go-to subject matter expert.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadline effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills and high degree of attention to detail.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in legal analysis, documentation, and case preparation.

Proficiency in both oral and written Odia.

Ability to manage a team and deliver as per requirement of client.

Must be self-motivated, a team player and have leadership qualities.
