Job Description
As a GCP Security Engineer, you'll leverage the full power of the Google Cloud security portfolio to design, implement, and maintain a robust security posture for our clients
You will be a key player in shaping our security practice, protecting critical data and infrastructure, and directly contributing to our clients' trust and our company's reputation for excellence
What Experience is Mandatory:
Proven GCP Security Expertise: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in designing and implementing security solutions on Google Cloud, with deep knowledge of services like Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), VPC Service Controls, and Key Management Service (KMS)
Identity & Access Management (IAM) Mastery: Deep, hands-on experience with GCP IAM, including custom roles, service account management, and implementing the principle of least privilege at scale
Cloud Network Security: Strong background in securing GCP network infrastructure, including designing secure VPCs, firewall rules, Cloud DNS, and implementing secure hybrid connectivity (VPN, Interconnect)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Proficiency: Strong experience using Terraform to build, manage, and enforce secure cloud infrastructure configurations
Automation & Scripting: Expert-level proficiency in Python for automating security operations, compliance checks, and incident response tasks
Client-Facing Experience: Previous experience working directly with clients to assess security posture, define requirements, and present security strategies and findings
What Experience is Beneficial (but Optional):
Professional Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification is highly preferred
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM): Familiarity with Google Chronicle, Splunk, or other security analytics platforms
Container Security: Experience securing containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters (GKE), including container scanning and network policies
Multi-Cloud Security: Understanding of security principles and services on other major cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
