Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large-scale data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, PubSub, and Dataflow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data processing workflows and provide timely resolutions.
Job Requirements :
- 5.5-10 years of experience in a similar role as a GCP Data Engineer or equivalent experience working with cloud-based technologies.
- Strong understanding of big data processing concepts including batch and real-time data ingestion from various sources (structured/unstructured).
- Proficiency in Python programming language along with experience working with popular libraries like PySpark.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes for deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform.
