GCP Data Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, DBT, Airflow, GCS, and Microsoft Purview, with a passion for building robust data pipelines, data models, and cloud-native analytics solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, DBT, and Apache Airflow.
• Build and optimize data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
• Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability.
• Integrate and process data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
• Implement data governance, cataloging, and lineage practices using Microsoft Purview.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and cloud infrastructure for performance and scalability.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong experience in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Expertise in BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database development.
• Experience building transformation pipelines using DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview for data governance, cataloging, and lineage.
• Good understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts.
