Job Description
- Work across the technical stack, delivering quality code both on the frontend and backend.
- Design and implement web or mobile interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, mostly in
- React
- Build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions
- Design APIs and Server Application using Elixir/Golang
- Identify and address performance issues
- Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services
- Teach and learn from other teammates to identify and communicate best practices
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams
- Work closely with engineering and network operations to develop continuous integration and continuous delivery systems
- Work closely with engineering and network operations in troubleshooting and fixing production bugs as required
- Collaborate with customer and technical support teams, as needed
- Participate in standups, engineering meetings as required
Requirements
- 2-4 years of programming experience
- Experience with server-side MVC web frameworks, such as Rails, Django, Phoenix, Spring, etc
- Experience using Elixir, Ruby, Go, Java; functional languages are a plus
- Experience with Relational (Postgres, MySQL, etc)
- Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and modern JavaScript libraries, frameworks and tooling
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client side performance considerations
- Experience with UI and UX is an added plus
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Strong motivation to drive impact by making product improvements.
